SajhiloStay FAQ

Does it work without fast internet?

Yes. SajhiloStay is deliberately lightweight and works comfortably on ordinary Nepali broadband or 4G — no heavy pages, no big downloads. It does need a connection, but nothing fast. For properties in remote areas, ask us about a local-network installation so the front desk keeps working even when the internet goes down.

Is my data safe? Can I back it up?

Your data lives in a proper database with role-based access control, brute-force login protection and a complete audit trail — nothing is silently edited or deleted. With our managed hosting, automated backups are included, and you can request a full export of your data anytime. It's your data, always.

Can multiple staff use it at the same time?

Yes — that's exactly what it's built for. Front desk, waiters, kitchen staff and the accountant can all work simultaneously. The system is concurrency-safe: two staff can never double-book the same room or oversell the last item, even if they click at the same moment.

Can I migrate from Excel or paper registers?

Yes. Data migration is a one-time add-on (NPR 5,000–25,000 depending on volume). We bring across your guests, rooms and rates so you start with your history, not an empty system.

Does it work on touch-screen POS machines and tablets?

Yes. The restaurant POS and kitchen display run in any modern browser, so they work on touch-screen POS terminals, Android tablets and iPads. Thermal printer and POS hardware setup is available at NPR 3,000 per device.

Does it support VAT bills?

Yes — service charge and VAT percentages are configured once in settings and applied automatically to every restaurant bill and invoice, with itemized, printable and emailable bills. Talk to us about your specific IRD requirements and we'll walk you through it.

Can my staff use it on phones and tablets?

Yes — SajhiloStay installs like a native app on any phone or tablet (PWA), with a home-screen icon and full-screen view. Front desk on a tablet, kitchen display on the chef's phone, owner's dashboard anywhere. No app store required.

Does it include our hotel's website?

Every plan includes a public website with live room search and online booking requests, plus a CMS your staff can edit without a developer. Domain, hosting and premium custom design are available as add-ons.

Will you train our staff?

Free remote onboarding is included with every plan. On-site installation and hands-on training anywhere in Nepal is available at NPR 7,500/day — most hotels are fully running within a day or two.

What happens when we grow — more rooms, another building?
